- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onions (optional)
- 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
Directions

1Thaw potatoes; melt margarine into chicken soup and onions. Add 1/2 of the grated cheese.

2Stir potatoes into this mixture and put in large baking dish for 45 minutes in a 350° oven.

3Remove cover and sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake for 15 minutes longer.

4Combine corn flakes with a little butter and spread over top when done.
