- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. white potatoes, boiled and put through strainer
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 sq. melted chocolate (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cream the butter and sugar, then add potatoes; beat well.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.

5Add melted chocolate and vanilla; beat well.

6Bake in 3 layers until sides of layers leave pan.
