- 5 medium potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- cooking oil
Directions

1Shred onion on large holes of grater.

2Shred potatoes on small holes.

3Drain potatoes and onion, pressing out liquids.

4Stir together potatoes, onion, egg, flour, salt and pepper.

5Heat 1-inch of cooking oil on medium setting in a 10-inch skillet. Drop mixture by 1 tablespoon at a time.

6Cook 2 to 4 minutes, until golden brown, turning once.

7Drain on paper towels.
