- 2 cakes yeast
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 7 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water and let stand for 20 minutes.

2Cream shortening and sugar, mix in potatoes, add eggs.

3Add flour alternately with yeast liquid.

4Let rise once, then refrigerate overnight.

5Make out 2 hours before baking.

6Bake at 425° for 8 to 10 minutes.
