Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1 qt. milk (whole)
- 2 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. water and 1 tsp. sugar
- 4 1/2 to 5 lb. flour
Directions

1Add egg with oil, sugar and salt.

2At room temperature, take 1 cup milk and potatoes that are lukewarm.

3Thin with the remaining milk from the quart.

4Add dissolved yeast.

5Lastly, add flour until you have a soft dough.

6Let rise once in oiled crock until double in size.

7Punch down; make into rolls or bread.

8It can be refrigerated up to 3 days.

9Shape into desired bread.

10Let rise again to double.

11Bake at 375°.

12Bake rolls for 20 to 25 minutes, bread for 30 minutes and monkey bread for 40 minutes.
