  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 3/4 c. scalded milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. mashed potato
  • 2 eggs (unbeaten)
  • 4 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Add milk, Crisco, salt, mashed potato and eggs.

    Chill dough 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
