Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tbsp. flour
  • 6 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Miracle Whip
  • French's prepared mustard to taste
  • cooked, diced potatoes
  • chopped celery
  • chopped onion
  • chopped hard-boiled eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In top of double boiler, mix flour, sugar, dry mustard, salt and eggs.

    Slowly add vinegar and milk, stirring constantly.

    Cook over hot water until thick; cool.

    When ready to use, mix cooked mixture with Miracle Whip and French's prepared mustard to taste. Pour over potato mixture and refrigerate several hours to blend flavors.

    Salad dressing can be thinned with cream.
