Ingredients

  • 10 lbs potatoes
  • 12 gallon heavy whipping cream
  • 1 gallon whole milk
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 14 cup bacon grease
  • 2 12 cups dried onion, minced
  • 1 lb butter
  • 18 cup salt
  • 18 cup pepper

Directions

    Wash and peel potatoes.

    Cook bacon until completely crispy.

    Drain bacon, and keep 1/4 cup bacon grease.

    Cut potatoes into quarters.

    Crush bacon into small pieces.

    Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot.

    Heat over medium heat until the soup comes to a boil stirring frequently.

    Lower heat to low and continue to simmer until the potatoes are soft stirring regularly.
