- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 4 cups cubed potatoes
- 2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 12 cups milk
- salt
- pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
Directions

1In a large saucepan cook bacon until crisp.

2Remove bacon and set aside.

3Brown onions in bacon fat over medium heat.

4Add potatoes, and enough water to cover.

5Cover and cook until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

6In a separate bowl stir milk and soup until it's smooth.

7Add to potato mixture.

8Heat, but do not boil.

9Add salt, pepper and dill weed.

10Crumble bacon, stir in just before serving or sprinkle on top.
