Ingredients

  • 6 medium size potatoes, sliced, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 large carrot, pared
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 4 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk (Milnot)

Directions

    Put all ingredients except milk in pan.

    Cover and cook on low until potatoes are tender.

    Stir in milk the last 15 minutes.

    I take potato masher and crush into small pieces.
