- 6 medium potatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 to 2 c. chopped leftover ham (if desired)
- 2 tsp. bacon drippings
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- sweet milk (to desired thinness)
Directions

1Boil potatoes and onions until tender and drain.

2Then mash, leaving some lumps.

3Add all other ingredients as desired.

4Could also add Bordeaux seasoning to make soup spicy.

5Could also add grated or bits of cheese as desired.

6Carrots, broccoli, cauliflower or squash could be substituted for potatoes.
