- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Start in cold oven.

2Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.

3Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly.

4Add flour and milk alternately. Mix well.

5Add flavorings.

6Pour in well-greased and floured pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.

7Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn onto wire rack to completely cool.
