- 2 sticks butter
- 1 c. Crisco
- 8 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. Swans Down cake flour
- 1/2 c. sweet milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
Directions

1Cream butter and Crisco.

2Add sugar, one cup at a time, followed by two eggs at the time, and mix well on #7 (mixer speed) after each addition.

3Reduce speed to #4.

4Add flour and milk alternately (4 parts) and mix well after each addition.

5Add flavoring.

6Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

7Test for doneness.
