- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk.

4Add lemon flavoring and vanilla.

5Pour into tube pan and bake at 325° for approximately 1 hour.

6Don't open oven.
