- 1-1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup dairy sour cream
- 1 cup raisins

1Heat oven to 325F.

2Grease and flour a 6-cup fluted tube pan.

3[to make a loaf cake, use a 8-1/2x4-1/2-inch loaf pan.

4Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes] Combine butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract; beat until light and fluffy.

5Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into butter mixture alternately with sour cream.

6Stir in raisins.

7Spoon batter into greased and floured pan.

8Bake at 325F in center of oven for about 60-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
