- 12 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Directions

1Cream butter thoroughly; add sugar and cream together until light and fluffy.

2Add egg yolks, well beaten.

3Beat for several minutes.

4Add flour, a small amount at a time, beating well after each addition.

5Add flavoring and beat for several minutes.

6Fold in slightly beaten egg whites.

7Bake in paper-lined pan in a slow oven from 275° to 300° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
