- 2 sticks butter
- 1/3 c. Crisco (cream)
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 3 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Cream together 2 sticks soft butter, Crisco and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Sift all-purpose flour, salt and baking powder together.

4Add to batter with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

5Add flavoring.

6Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for about 1 1/2 hours.
