- 3 sticks margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 5 to 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. lemon extract

1Have all ingredients at room temperature.

2Cream sugar and margarine.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Then alternate with flour (to which you have added the baking powder) and milk.

4Begin and end with flour.

5Add vanilla and lemon extracts.

6Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

7Bake in 325° oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
