  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 5 to 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Have all ingredients at room temperature.

    Cream sugar and margarine.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Then alternate with flour (to which you have added the baking powder) and milk.

    Begin and end with flour.

    Add vanilla and lemon extracts.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

    Bake in 325° oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
