- 5 eggs
- 3 c. Swans Down cake flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract or 1 c. black walnuts, rolled in flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and Crisco.

2Add all eggs, slightly beaten.

3Add flour and milk (starting and ending with flour).

4Add flavoring and baking powder.

5Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours in tube cake pan.
