  • 1 c. butter or 2 sticks margarine
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour, sifted
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 pt. sweet cream

Directions

    Cream butter; add sugar and cream well.

    Add eggs one at a time.

    Beat after each addition.

    Add sweet cream and flour alternately.

    Bake at 300° in tube pan for about 1 3/4 hours. While cake is baking, prepare glaze.
