  • 1/3 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. flour, sifted
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

    Cream sugar, oleo and Crisco.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Sift flour and baking powder.

    Add flour and milk alternately.

    Add flavoring.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a greased and floured tube cake pan.

    Do not open oven until cake has baked at least one hour or it will fall!!!
