- 1 1/2 c. butter
- 1 lb. confectioners sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 2 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
Directions

1Beat butter with mixer until creamy.

2Gradually beat in sifted sugar, beating well after each addition, until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.

3Beat in vanilla.

4Gradually stir in cake flour; blending well.

5Do not overmix.

6Pour into well buttered and lightly floured tube or Bundt pan.

7Bake in preheated 300° oven 1 1/2 hours or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.

8Cool in pan 5 minutes then remove.
