- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Start with a cold oven.

2Do not preheat oven. Cream margarine, shortening and sugar together.

3Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.

4Add flour and milk alternately, again mixing well after each addition.

5Add flavorings.

6Pour batter into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
