  • 2 1/8 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 3/4 c. plain flour
  • 3/8 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 3/4 tsp. flavoring

    Separate eggs and whip whites.

    Add in 4 1/2 tablespoons sugar.

    Place in refrigerator.

    Cream butter and add sugar.

    Add egg yolks 2 at a time.

    Add sifted flour and milk alternately.

    On low speed, blend in egg whites.

    Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 325°
