- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. almond flavoring
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Grease and flour pan, loaf pan or tube pan.

2Sift flour before measuring.

3Put back in sifter with salt and sugar and sift together.

4Break eggs one at a time.

5Put eggs and flavoring together and beat.

6Beat Crisco and dry mixture.

7Add egg mixture; add eggs and beat well.

8Put in pan and cut through with spatula. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.

9Test for doneness.

10Cool.
