  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time. Gradually add and blend in flour.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Pour into a greased and lightly floured tube pan.

    Bake in preheated 325° oven for 1 hour.
