- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 14 lb butter
- 1 cup pecans
Directions

1In a large pan, mix sugar and cream well.

2Place on moderate heat and boil.

3Cook mixture until a ball forms when you drop it in cold water (soft ball stage).

4Remove from heat.

5Add butter and pecans.

6Beat by hand for approximately 3 minutes.

7If candy starts to get too hard, add just a little cream.

8Drop onto waxed paper or pour onto large jelly pan and let cool.
