  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 c. pecan halves
  • 2 egg whites
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Melt butter.

    Mix sugar and salt. Beat egg whites.

    Fold in mixture and add pecans. Spread in pan and bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown.

    Liquid will absorb.

    Stir every 10 minutes.

    Remove and place on wax paper to cool.
