- 1 c. pecan or walnut halves
- 1/4 c. cream
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Add cream to sugar and stir well.

2Add nuts.

3Melt butter in iron frypan and cool slightly.

4Add sugar mixture.

5Have frypan medium hot to start.

6Turn heat to low as soon as mixture begins to bubble.

7Cook until it becomes dark and spins a thread from the spoon.

8Try to keep mixture cooking evenly on outside and inside of pan by stirring constantly.

9Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet.
