- 1 turkey
- 1 stalk celery, halved
- 1 apple, quartered
- 2 onions, quartered
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper
- 2/3 c. water
Directions

1Place prepared turkey in a pressure canner.

2Add all other ingredients.

3Cook until done, according to directions in your pressure canner booklet.

4Remove turkey from canner and put in a large baking pan.

5Broil very carefully until brown.

6Rub with a stick of butter or margarine during broiling, if meat appears to be drying out.

7Also, place foil over breast if it starts to burn. Serves 6 to 8.
