  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. cooked prunes, cut up
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Mix oil, sugar, eggs, spices and salt.

    Mix soda with buttermilk and add to first mixture.

    Mix in flour and prunes. Mix well and add nuts.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350° for 1 hour.
