  • 1 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. cooked cut up prunes
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. each cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla and salt

Directions

    Blend sugar and oil. Add eggs and milk, then dry ingredients. Add vanilla, nuts and prunes.

    Bake at 300° for 1 hour in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
