- 3 eggs
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 big jar baby prunes
- 1 c. fresh, black walnuts
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift the flour with soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and allspice; sift into vanilla, eggs, sugar, oil, buttermilk and prunes.

2Mix and add nuts.

3Bake in an iron skillet at 275° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

4This is especially good on a fall evening served warm.
