  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. cooked prunes, chopped
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Sift flour, spices, salt, soda and sugar.

    Stir in oil and beaten eggs, then milk.

    Add prunes, nuts and vanilla.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.

    Pour sauce over cake when taken from the oven.
