- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. dark Karo
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. cooked prunes, cut fine
Directions

1Cream sugar, eggs and oil together and then set aside.

2Mix flour, soda, nutmeg, salt and cinnamon together.

3To this mixture, add the Karo, buttermilk, vanilla, nuts and prunes.

4(Cook prunes 20 minutes; drain and let cool.) Grease and flour Bundt pan.

5Bake 1 hour at 300°.

6Ice with Caramel Icing (if desired).
