  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. chopped prunes

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix well ingredients, except prunes and nuts. Add prunes and nuts; mix and pour into 9 x 13 glass pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour. Before cake cools, make holes in top of cake with toothpick.
