  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg

  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. prunes, cooked and diced
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. black walnuts

    Blend sugar and oil.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add dry ingredients, vanilla, nuts, prunes and buttermilk.

    Bake at 375° for 50 minutes in oblong pan.
