  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sour milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. drained cooked prunes
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Directions

    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs 1 at a time and beat well.

    Add sifted flour, salt, soda and cinnamon alternately with sour milk.

    Add prunes, raisins and nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes in muffin tins with liners.

    Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
