  • 2 c. diced prunes
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3/4 c. yogurt
  • 1 tsp. lemon peel

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla.

    Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add dry ingredients and then add the yogurt, diced prunes, lemon peel and nuts.

    Bake in 2 greased loaf pans at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.
