- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. pitted prunes (2 c.)
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/4 large lemon
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
Directions

1About 3 hours to 2 weeks ahead, heat prunes and 1 cup of water to boiling.

2Reduce heat to low.

3Cover and simmer 3 minutes. Drain well.

4In blender on high, put prunes, honey and lemon.

5Do not peel.
