- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 c. flour
- melted butter
Directions

1Heat milk; stir in butter, salt and sugar.

2Soften yeast in warm water.

3Sift flour in a large bowl.

4Make a well in flour and add yeast and water.

5Gradually add warm milk.

6Knead until smooth.

7Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled. Knead again and form into rolls or loaves.

8Place on greased pan, brush with melted butter and let rise for 1 hour.

9Bake at 375° for 45 minutes for loaves or 30 minutes for rolls.

10Makes 2 loaves or about 4 dozen rolls.
