- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1/3 c. white vinegar
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat first four ingredients in saucepan to hard crackle stage (260 degrees).

2Add butter and vanilla.

3Mix well add pour into buttered platters.

4Let cool just enough to be able to handle the heat.

5Butter hands and pull taffy until it turns to pearl white ivory color.

6Lay out in a rope and cut into bite size pieces.
