  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp sage
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 8 lb pork shoulder butt

    mix dry and wet ingredients together in crock pot

    place pork shoulder in crock on low for 8 hours to cook

    after pork falls off bone remove from crock and discard water

    put pork in deep flat bottom cooking tray and shred with tongs or butcher knife

    once shredded to satisfaction place on large roll and top With favorite BBQ sauce
