- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 3 scant c. sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. canned pumpkin (1 lb. can)
Directions

1Sift together first 8 ingredients.

2Add nuts, then oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

3Then add pumpkin and pour into 3 well-greased 1 pound coffee cans, filling each one half full.

4Bake 2 1/2 hours at 250°.

5Cool 15 minutes in cans, then remove to wire rack.

6(I use 5 cans about the size of a 10 ounce peanut can.)
