  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. oil (Mazola, etc.)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. canned pumpkin
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Grease well 3 (1 pound) coffee cans.

    Fill 2/3 full.

    Bake upright at 350° for one hour or until done.

    Release from cans and set upright on rack to cool.

    After cooling, bread can be wrapped and frozen.
