- 1/2 lb butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pumpkin, cold, mashed
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 lb dried mixed fruit
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well.

2Then add cold mashed pumpkin, flour sifted with cream of tartar and baking soda.

3Lastly mix in 1 lb dried mixed fruit. Turn into greased pan Bake in slow oven 1 1/2 hours.
