Ingredients
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2/3 c. pumpkin
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 unbeaten eggs
Directions

1Combine raisins, walnuts and 2 tablespoons flour.

2Sift together 1/2 cup flour, salt, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

3Set aside.

4Melt shortening in saucepan.

5Stir in brown sugar.

6Remove from heat.

7Blend in pumpkin, vanilla and eggs one at a time and beat well.

8Add to dry mixture.

9Pour in a well greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

10Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

11Cool and cut into bars.

12Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
