- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. pumpkin or squash
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients, then cut in butter and stir in raisins.

2Blend egg, milk and pumpkin or squash.

3Add to dry mixture, stirring just until moistened.

4Do not overmix.

5Bake in greased muffin tin at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.

6(May sprinkle sugar or cinnamon on top.)
