- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream margarine; gradually add sugar, beating well.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Combine next 7 ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin. Stir in vanilla and pecans.

4Spoon into 2 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pans.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

6Cool in pan 10 minutes.

7Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
