  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2/3 c. chopped nuts
  • 2/3 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream together sugar and oleo.

    Add eggs, water and pumpkin. Mix dry ingredients and add to egg mixture; mix well.

    Add nuts. Grease 2 small loaf pans and fill 1/2 full.

    Bake at 250° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    Baking at a low temperature keeps bread moist.
